The goal of this special online meeting devoted to AI in Jewish genealogy is simple: to get people together on Zoom, compare notes, ask questions, and see what is actually useful. We will focus on practical ways people are already using AI or would like to use it, such as transcription, translation, summarization, and organizing research, along with where AI works well, where it does not, and how to verify results responsibly.

No prior experience is required, and this is not a lecture. Think of it as a working conversation and live exploration, with demonstrations as they make sense. Just as important, we want your input. This first session will help shape what future meetings look like, including topics, format, and how advanced we should get over time.
