RESEARCH

The JGSI continually maintains and updates its online data to provide users with unique, Illinois-specific resources. As of July 2026, we have 89 Collections found in our Names (JJCD) and Subjects (JCRP) databases. Together, Names and Subjects make a great first place to look as you pursue your family history.

JGSI is proud to offer free access to both members and non-members. This data is the result of many volunteer hours. New and updated collections are posted as they become available, so please check back.
