The subject database - jcrp

The JGSI Jewish Chicago Resource Portal (JCRP) is a searchable database of twenty collections that span many Jewish Chicago sources. Combining our historical records with public resources on Chicago's Jewish history helps genealogists research their family history by subject - from "Anshes and Archives" to "Yeshivas and Yizkor Books".

• Chicagoland Cemetery Sections - Links to major Chicago-area cemeteries by congregation/organization
• FAQs - Frequently Asked Questions
• Libraries - Collected titles, Member-owned or available online
• Publications & Documents - Newsletters (from JGSI and CJHS (Chicago Jewish Historical Society), Newspapers, Journals, Archives and Collections (some require membership)
• References  &  Websites - Names, Institutions, Organizations, Links to maps and other specific reference sites
• Meeting Videos - Recordings from JGSI and CJHS (some require membership)
